Best Dentist's Office in the SouthEast US -dental sesame review
The first time I went to Dr. Saylor's office I almost fell out of my chair. Not because it was faulty, but because Lynnette, his permanent angel at the front desk, came to me and apologized that the Doctor was running 10 minutes behind schedule(!!!). She told me she knew how valuable MY time was and that if I needed to reschedule they would completely understand, but if I could wait he would be no longer than 10 add'l minutes. True to her word, 8 minutes later I was in a chair, having x-rays taken, being asked if the temperature was okay, did I need a blanket? It doesn't stop there. Every employee gets hands on training by Dr Saylor himself. Each dental assistant and every office staff member is polite, courteous, friendly and truly understands that patient's have their own busy schedules. When you schedule an appt with this office you are given a time frame for the entire appt, start to finish. I have yet for them to deviate from the appointed times. I am still offered blankets, pillows for under my legs, every comfort which could possibly be extended. I say it's the best dentist's office in the SE, not the world, because I've only had work done in the SE. But I'd be willing to bet money you couldn't find a better dentist, staff or office ANYWHERE. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a quality not quantity-minded dentist who treats you with respect and is sure that his office is clean and inviting. I didn't even mention the toothbrushes, mouthwash, and top of the line Laura Mercier soaps, lotions, body butters, etc available for use in the restroom. It's closer to a spa visit than a dentist chair. He also makes sure that you are in no pain or discomfort while you undergo your procedure(s). I can't say enough about Dr. Saylor, Lynnette, Vicki, Ereka and the rest of the office staff at this establishment. They are leagues above and beyond any other medical office I've been in. Period. And I've been in a lot. Having RSD has afforded me 18 surgeries, 13 sympathetic blocks and 6 continuous morphine drips via a catheter in my spine. As you can imagine, I have been in many offices and hospitals. The ONLY place that comes close is an employee only facility at Progressive Insurance, which is also phenomenal, under the guidance of Dr. James Zaccari, who has a private practice as well (which I've never visited). Kudos to all of you on the Saylor team who make going to the dentist a Good Experience. Keep up the good work!!! And thank you for the wonderful service over these last several years.

Pampering Excellence -dental sesame review
This is a business which should serve as a model for the too often forgotten effort of providing excellent workmanship along with every effort to make the patient's experience pleasant and comfortable. I actually look forward to getting my teeth thoroughly yet gently cleaned by kind, attentive, unhurried, skilled, and proactively thoughtful. Dr. Saylor does beautiful as well as quality work and takes obvious pride in it. The entire staff follows suit. The office is immaculate. Although it cannot, by nature, be the Spa, I always leave with a relaxed feeling of well-being from being so well cared for. And no, I was not paid or solicited into this. I spontaneously accepted the on-line invitation to write the review.

Fantastic - highly reccomended -dental sesame review
My first visit to Dr. Saylor was for a routine cleaning for myself and my kids. Everyone there was friendly, professional, and seeing us on time. They were excellent with the kids too. Made them very comfortable, and helped educate them on good dental habits. My husband and I both came back for fillings, and had great experiences. Love the ipods for our use!

Scared to tears! -dental sesame review
When I found out I was going to the dentist I almost lost my dinner. My daughter and son in law assured me, it would be just fine. They have been coming to the office for years. I was still worried, After all I hadn't been to the dentist in years and the last time I was there it was NOT a pleasant experience. When we arrived, everyone was extremely nice. I was fine until just before I was called in for my x ray. I lost it. You would have thought I just lost a family member. Dr. Price and Lousie came out to calm me down. They were so comforting. Lousie took the x ray and said she would be back shortly. That was the longest ten minutes ever. That's when I thought: here it comes another scolding for not taking care of my teeth. NOPE, just the opposite. They made it sound like it was no big deal. That's why they do what they do. Make everyone's smile better and brighter. They never once made me feel like a cry baby, even though I'm 65. EVERYONE was extremely nice. I thank you and I'll do my best not to cry for my next appointment. I feel confident that you are not going to yell or hurt me, you will make my smile better than ever.

Over the top!! -dental sesame review
I've been in dentistry for over 30 years and have called on many offices. I know hundreds of dentist, but Dr Larry Saylor is a cut above and he has trained his staff to be the same way. With Dr. Saylor teaching at a higher level and nationally, he has raised every standards in his office to reflect the new and improved methods of treatment and treating others. I am proud to send referrals to this office and I have the confidence that they will get the best dental care.

Fantastic dentist, even from a dental phobics perspective! -dental sesame review
I avoided going to a dentist for many years due to my dental phobia (based on many bad experiences with dentists from the past). Now I am a "reforming dental phobic" since the very positive experience I had with Dr. Saylor and his staff yesterday. They were gentle, very professional and provided a "user friendly" treatment plan for me which will allow me to deal with my dental issues. As bizarre as this sounds, I'm looking forward to my next appointment with them!

Consistent Excellence -ortho sesame review
Every aspect of this experience has been amazing. From the first day, Dr. Saylor listened attentively as I went on about what I hoped to get out of my porcelain veneers. All questions were answered and he ensured I knew exactly what each step would be. During the placement of the diagnostics, and the weeks thereafter, I visited the office quite a bit and was always greeted warmly and given the same amazing levels of service.

The people in Dr. Saylor's office truly want the patients happy; they want to be able to work with someone if a cancellation happens last minute; and they want to help achieve in the creation of a dream smile. I got mine because of Dr. Saylor, Louise, and staff, and it has had such a positive impact on my life, I will miss these people!

Understanding at Last! -ortho sesame review
After seeing several orthodontists and dentists while attempting to improve my smile, I was very frustrated. I was even told that my smile was fine.

But I was very unhappy with it and that should count for something. I was offered to participate in a t-shirt wearing contest at another dentist office to win things; which was very child like and insulted me.

Finally, I found Dr. Saylor and he and his team took the time to listen and understand my needs while treating me in a very adult environment. I would recommend anyone needing a dentist to Dr. Saylor.

"From the moment you enter the front office, you are received with a smile and cordial greeting. Dr. Saylor and his assistants take time with a patient, as if they were the only one to be treated on that day.

When I was 16 years old and in the 11th grade I broke a front tooth on a coke bottle when we crossed a railroad track. Half of the large tooth in front was gone. At that time, the dentist my family used told my mother that the tooth was still growing and that is could not be capped (crowned). I went for about three years with it that way.

I still remember that I could not smile for my high school graduation pictures because of the broken tooth.

Finally, I found a dentist who put a crown on it. I cried when he showed me the tooth in a mirror. Since then, I have had many of my teeth crowned, but when I finally took Dr. Saylor’s advice and had the backing of my husband, I made a wise decision. It was worth the expense.

I am very pleased to recommend you to others. Thank you Dr. Saylor! I did not tell my friends and family that I was having new crowns put on my teeth. But when they were finished, people immediately asked about my ‘new look’. My children are so proud I had it done and continue to say ‘Mom, I really like your teeth’."
