What about At-Home Tooth Whitening?
We also offer an at-home bleaching tray option. Our cosmetic dentist and staff will create a custom bleaching tray from an impression of your teeth. They will be fit to ensure your comfort and you will be instructed on how to apply the bleaching agent. Because they are clear, you may choose to wear them during the day, or in the evening for a total of one to two hours per day.
Maximum benefits will be realized in 2 to 6 weeks, depending on how discolored your teeth are, how often the treatment is applied, and your original tooth color.
Whitening results typically will last for many years, although many patients who drink staining beverages like tea, red wine, coffee, or colas choose to reapply the bleaching agent for a night or two once or twice a year to maintain their bright smile. Remember: Anything that would stain a white blouse or shirt can stain your teeth!
